Getting to Magnetic Island
We are located off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The closest city is Townsville and Magnetic Island can be accessed by ferry. There are several different companies to choose from:
Sealink Passenger Ferry
Sealink operates up to 17 daily services to Magnetic Island and will have you in paradise in only 20 minutes on one of their high-speed catamarans. There is no need to prebook your ferry ticket, tickets are available at the terminal or onboard the boats if the terminal is closed. There are a variety of ticket types available including adult, child, concession and family.
Sealink Breakwater Terminal is located at Sir Leslie Thiess Drive, Townsville.

Their 45 minute trip offers better photo opportunities from higher decks and an air-conditioned snack bar. They operate from 6am - 6pm weekdays and 6am - 4pm on weekends.
